Air Duct & Furnace Cleaning

Home Of The Flat Rate

Breathe Easy while you save money

With the high costs of energy, it has never been more important to ensure that your heating and cooling systems are running at top efficiency.
Air Duct cleaning is an important part of your overall home maintenance.Cleaning the system gets rid of dirt, debris and other built up that will ultimately prolong the life of your heating and cooling systems and help to save you money in energy bills along the way.
With an oil furnace, cleaning the heat exchanger is vital to making sure your furnace won’t clog with soot and the heat transfer is efficient. A sooty heat exchanger will not absorb and transfer the heat efficiently and most of the heat will go up the flue.

Breathe Easy While Allergens are removed

Indoor air can be up to 100% dirtier than outdoor air. And that’s air, rain and wind clean the air outdoors. Indoors we rely on air duct systems that trap dust, allergens, hair and dirt.
Eliminating contaminants from your ducts helps to ensure the best possible indoor air quality which can help to minimize reaction to environmental sensitivity, allergies and asthma. And that helps everyone breathe a little easier.

Breathe easy when we sanitize your ductwork

We use our fog machine to coat the inside of your air ducts, killing any bacteria or mold spores. If you have a heat pump we strongly recommend this treatment to fully sanitize your indoor coil. We use a product called Benefect. It is plant-based, safe for pets and children.

Breathe Easy With Improved Home Cleanliness

Removing the dirt that is hidden from view in the air ducts will also help you to reduce household dust. So you do not have to clean so often.

When is Furnace & Duct Cleaning Needed?

New Home

You might not expect it, but a newly built home may have ducts that are clogged with construction materials such as wood shavings, drywall dust or carpet fibers. In addition, newer more airtight homes tend to have more recycled air which fills the ducts with less fresh air and more dust. Booking an air duct cleaning prior to moving into your new home will virtually eliminate these concerns and increase the enjoyment of your new home.

When You Move

Duct cleaning the home you are trying to sell can be an added selling feature. It communicates to potential buyers that you take maintain and take good care with all features of your home. Once you move, you will want to ensure that the ducts are cleaned so that you can start fresh, without having to inhale years of another family’s dust and dirt.

3 Years Since Your Last Cleaning

Our industry standards suggest your ductwork and furnace is cleaned every 2-3 years. But don’t worry if you forget, at Aero our office is diligent at either emailing or calling you to remind you of your very important cleaning. We always put a sticker on your furnace so you can check and see when your next cleaning is due.

New Furnace or Air Conditioner

It is recommended, and sometimes required by warranty, that air ducts are cleaned after a new furnace or air conditioner is installed. Always check when you make a purchase.

How Do We Perform Furnace & Air Duct Cleaning?

We Call It The Source Removal Method
One of our Aero Technicians will inspect your furnace to ensure that it is working properly. If any abnormalities are discovered, the technician will be sure to inform the customer.
Then, the vacuum hose is securely installed into the trunk line close to the furnace to create negative pressure on the whole ducting system.
The airline is set up from the furthest duct, leading to the air compressor in the truck. The vacuum and air compressor are turned on.
All registers are brushed and air washed with 180-200 psi of air pressure. As a result, all contamination inside the heat run and cold air returns will be pushed and blasted down to the supply trunk line. Although the force of the vacuum and air pressure is tremendous, it will not harm or alter your ductwork.
After all the registers, cold air returns and heat runs have been brushed and blown out, we proceed to rigorously clean the supply trunk line with a wide array of pneumatic tools to agitate all four walls of the interior trunk line. We also use blow back tools that we can shoot into the ductwork to pull debris and contamination back to the installed vacuum to remove it from the system.
We begin to clean the furnace by cleaning hot and cold plenums as well as the blower. Air is blasted to dislodge all dust and debris within the furnace and fan compartment, with the vacuum continuously running.
If an air conditioning coil is present, the technician will gently air wash the outside and inside of the evaporator coil fins with a special coil cleaner to dislodge the common dust mat. Matted coils are a haven for nasty microbials and can also cause your air conditioning to run less efficiently. The condensate drain pan and drain is also air washed.

If the furnace is an oil furnace, the technician will hook their vacuum up to the heat exchanger and use compressed air and brushes to clean out the oil soot clogging up your furnace and making the oil furnace burn oil more efficiently.

The air handler will be turned on and the technician will make sure that the air handler is cycling properly.
If you requested sanitizer, the tech will then use our fog machine to coat the inside of your air ducts, killing any bacteria or mold spores. We use Benefect solution and it is plant based, safe for pets and children.
